How do you transition from being an average Rx athlete to an advanced athlete. I would assume by increasing the volume, but that would reduce recovery. What do you recommend in leveling up your game within a goal of a year?

Have you tried to do a comparison to the CrossFit definition of fitness (Force times distance over time) to see how to properly balance an effective CrossFit program with this reduction of injury? In other words, CrossFits definition of fitness says that an increase in Force and decrease in time would directly link to higher fitness, but this equation links it to higher injury.

Thanks again!

Doug

Coach Gabe here from CrossFit Long Beach (your northern neighbor!). I enjoyed the analytics of this post and I have further questions. First, is there an outcome value or range of values that one can strive for when plugging in actual numbers into this equation? In your opinion, how do we use this model to effectively set our clients (and ourselves) up with the optimal ratio of values at any given time?

Your feedback is much appreciated!
