Many athletes start at this sge! Didn’t Sam Briggs start CF at 28?
Great post and the WODs for 55+ are realistc. I’m now 63 and like to work out them

Hi Jean, Thx. Yes, I’m an online athlete and I was thinking on doing something similar to what you did. But to incorporate a strength cycle with all the existing strength stuff in the Masters Programming is going to be very difficult. Anyway…Nicole is gr8! I’ll contact her and I’m sure she’ll be able to help. Best of luck for your 18.5! Thruster, thrusters and thrusters….:-))

Love to hear that you are enjoying the Masters Programming.
Great question! A few of us were just talking about this in class. After the open you will discover your strength and weaknesses. It’s a great time to sit down with a coach to discuss options to add progression work for a specific weakness into your weekly programming. If you are an online athlete, you can reach out to Nichole Kribs either on FaceBook or email her directly. She will be happy to assist you with options. Depending on what your weakness is, we have an amazing staff of specialty coaches available to help you.
Example: in 2015, my MU’s and HSPU were a weakness. I followed an 8 week gymnastic progression program. For 3 days a week it added about 20 min to my programming. And if I was short for time, I replaced it with something that was programmed for the day that was a strength. After 8 weeks, I went back to normal programming.
Hope that helps! And good luck with 18.5

VERY WISE programming and I enjoy all of it a lot! Very grateful for this. I’ve been with Invictus Masters Program for about two years now. I’ve taken a break after last years Open for about 6months but got back on in prep. for the Open 2018. One question though…when should one work on one’s individual/specific weaknessess? Or how do you it?
